Dental Hygienist

Part-Time or Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist:

Position Details

• Part-time or full-time opportunity available
• Minimum of 1 year of dental hygiene experience preferred
• Current, active Registered Dental Hygienist license required
• Local anesthesia certification/license preferred
• Familary withiTero preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient-focused with a commitment to providing thorough, compassionate care

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care and thorough patient education
• Perform periodontal assessments, including gingival evaluation, radiographs and probing
• Provide prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (S/RP), full-mouth debridement (FMD), fluoride treatments, and sealants as indicated
• Examine the oral cavity, head, and neck for signs of oral disease or abnormalities
• Communicate findings effectively with the dentist to assist with diagnosis and treatment recommendations
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team to provide an excellent overall patient experience
