Dental Hygienist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated part-time Dental Hygienist to join our small private family practice for 1-2 days a week.

About the Practice

We are a general family dentistry practice serving patients young and old. We are a newer privately owned practice and opened about 4 years ago.

About the Role

We are looking for a experienced hygienist to work one to two days per week- preferably Wednesday/Friday. Hours are Wednesdays 11-7pm and Fridays 9-5. We are a caring and supportive office looking to add to our dynamic group. We use OpenDental and Sidexis software.

Responsibilities

• Generalized dental hygiene procedures
• Digital X-rays
• Detailed Charting
• Oral hygiene instruction/education
• Recare scheduling

Qualifications

• RDH license
• CPR certified
• Experience working within HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient confidentiality and manage electronic health records securely.
• Familiarity with infection control practices including aseptic technique and healthcare infection prevention protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental concepts clearly to patients of all ages, especially pediatrics.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail during chairside assisting tasks as needed

Pay: $45.53 - $54.83 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 – 20.0 per week
