Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
• Take X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records, documenting treatments, assessments, and patient interactions in Open Dental.
• Follow strict infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient safety and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy at all times.

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour
