ReGenesis Health Care, a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care while helping expand access to oral healthcare for children, families, and underserved communities. You will also have opportunities to support our school-based dental program, community outreach initiatives, and medical-dental integration efforts.

Compensation

$39.00–$48.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Additional compensation opportunities include:

• Sign-on bonus

• Quarterly incentive program

• Average bonus opportunity of approximately $5,000 annually, based on applicable program requirements and performance.

What You'll Do

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will:

• Perform comprehensive oral health assessments and periodontal evaluations.

• Provide preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing as appropriate, fluoride treatments, and sealants.

• Obtain dental radiographs in accordance with applicable requirements and clinical protocols.

• Screen patients for oral diseases, abnormalities, and other conditions requiring evaluation by the dentist.

• Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and maintaining good oral health.

• Support pediatric, school-based, community outreach, and preventive oral health initiatives.

• Maintain timely and accurate electronic dental records and clinical documentation.

• Follow applicable OSHA, CDC, HIPAA, infection prevention, and safety requirements.

• Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, medical providers, and other members of the care team.

• Help create a welcoming, respectful, and compassionate experience for patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Full-Time Schedule

• Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM

• Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.

• Active, unrestricted South Carolina Dental Hygienist license.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong clinical, communication, and patient education skills.

• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of clinical dental hygiene experience.

• Experience providing dental care to pediatric patients.

• Community health, public health, or FQHC experience.

• Experience with electronic dental records.

• Interest in school-based and community dental outreach.
