Position Overview

The Dental Hygienist must abide by various regulatory compliance rules and must always treat patients with dignity and respect.

General Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene care for patients through initial screenings, radiographs, periodontal screening, oral cancer screening, fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral hygiene instructions
• Documents dental hygiene progress notes and accurately enter procedures in charge entry
• Maintains dental equipment, safety checks, quality control logs, and operatories
• Maintains adequate dental supplies for patient care, ordering or notifying designated staff when needed

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program required
• Dental Hygienist license in the State of Ohio required
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ of dental office experience preferred
• Windows-based computer experience required
