Dental Hygienist

Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Conduct thorough hygiene examinations, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing (SRP).
• Co-Diagnosis: Collaborate closely with the dentist to evaluate and co-diagnose patients' oral health conditions.
• Auxiliary Procedures: Perform necessary clinical procedures, including the application of sealants and occlusal guards.
• Diagnostic Imaging & Tech: Take accurate dental x-rays (with dental assistant support as needed), capture intraoral photographs, and utilize intraoral scanners for digital impressions. (Training provided for photography and scanning).
• Instrument Management: Maintain, sterilize, and properly sharpen hygiene dental instruments.
• Practice Operations: Actively manage and schedule hygiene recall appointments for assigned patients.

Qualifications & Experience

• Active Dental Hygiene license.
• Current BLS/CPR and Radiology certifications.
• Local anesthesia certification (training/sponsorship available if required).
• New graduates with a strong willingness to learn and grow are highly encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour with benefits (50% health insurance premium; 401k 5% match; up to $2,000 dental care coverage; 7-day PTO)
• Work Schedule:
• Monday: Closed
• Tuesday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Straight shift, no lunch break—start your weekend early!)
• No weekend shifts.
