Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our professional dental team. Duties

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, utilizing advanced dental equipment and adhering to infection prevention protocols.
• Conduct patient assessments by medical history reviews, and dental x-rays to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term oral health.
• Assist dentists during examinations with precision and professionalism.
• Manage Dentrix to document patient information accurately while maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Support the overall operation of the dental practice by coordinating appointments, reviewing documentation for accuracy, and managing medical records efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist within a general or pediatric dentistry setting is essential.
• Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred for efficient documentation management.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health care.
• Experience performing dental x-rays is necessary.
• Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to educate patients effectively on dental care practices.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
