We are an easy-going, supportive, friendly and family oriented General Dental Practice in Holbrook. We see patients at all stages of life from age 3. We draw all types of people from surrounding towns. Many still return after moving from the area, including ME, NH, RI, the Cape! We are now seeing multi-generational families, seeing the grandparents, parents, and now grandchildren.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, team-oriented, Dental Hygienist to join our many seasoned long term staff members.

PART-TIME or FULL-TIME hours

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible throughout their dental experience
• Be warm, friendly, kind and as gentle as possible
• Understand patients fears and phobias to help overcome fears with trust
• Work as a team with doctors diagnosing periodontal disease, caries, and pathology
• Take diagnostic dental X-rays
• Dental Prophylaxis
• Correct, yet gentle, full mouth periodontal probings
• Quadrant Scaling and Root Planing (giving local anesthesia if qualified and interested, but not mandatory)
• Placement of Arestin as indicated
• Oral cancer screening
• Educate patients of all ages on home care and helpful techniques or products
• Dental fluoride varnish application to any ages
• Follow all protocols for Infection Control, OSHA and HIPPA

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Empathetic and understanding demeanor
• Attention to detail
• Diploma in Dental Hygiene
• Valid license to practice in MA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $54.00 per hour
