Dental Hygienist – Little Smile Big Smile

Little Smile Big Smile is a well-established, family-focused dental practice in West Hempstead that has been proudly serving the community for over 40 years. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.

We are currently looking for a hygienist primarily for Sundays, Mondays and Fridays but we are flexible with days and hours for the right candidate.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care to patients
• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and necessary X-rays
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Review medical and dental histories
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Communicate effectively with dentists and the rest of the dental team
• Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients of all ages
• Follow all OSHA, infection-control, and office protocols
