Our dental hygienist position is part time, averaging approximately 23-24 hours per week over four clinical days. The hours listed below are when patients are scheduled, hygienists start no later than 15 minutes prior to when the first patient is scheduled.

Monday: OFF

Tuesday: 11am - 4pm (5 hours, no lunch)

Wednesday: 8am - 2pm (6 hours, no lunch) (until 2:30pm on 6 Wednesdays a year for team meetings)

Thursday: 8am - 1pm (5 hours, no lunch)

Friday: 7am - 1pm (6 hours, no lunch)

What we are looking for

• At least 6 months of previous dental hygiene experience
• Team player mentality is a must
• Positive attitude
• Good work ethic
• Solid IT/computer skills
• Experience with Dentrix is a huge plus

What You'll Do

• Provide thorough, high-quality preventive hygiene care, including adult and child cleanings and periodontal maintenance. We see patients ages 6 and older.
• Perform periodontal assessments, oral cancer screenings, radiographs, and other routine clinical assessments
• Educate patients about oral health, periodontal health, and personalized home-care recommendations
• Recognizing and communicating areas of concern to the dentist and collaborating on comprehensive patient care
• Create a comfortable, welcoming experience that helps patients feel valued and cared for
• Work closely with our dentists and team members to deliver efficient, coordinated, patient-centered care
• Be an important part of a positive, team-oriented practice
