Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
• Provide professional dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
• Perform medical imaging procedures such as X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes and medical coding for services rendered.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
• Experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
