We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to best practices in oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
• Administer dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures effectively and efficiently.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes using appropriate dental terminology.
• Collaborate with dentist to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures is essential.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and dental assisting practices will be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $45.00 - $51.00 per hour
