Hours: Flexible

We are a true family practice treating multigenerational families in our updated and expanded facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comfortable atmosphere in which to treat your patients.
• Prophylaxis, scaling and root planing
• Digital X-rays, intraoral pictures
• Sealants and topical fluoride application
• Assess patients’ oral health and report findings to dentists
• Dentrix
• Document patient care and treatment plans
• Educate patients about oral hygiene techniques, smoking cessation, etc.
• Follow OSHA guidelines --sterilize dental instruments properly, set up and breakdown operatories accordingly
• Monitor supplies
• Assist others when not actively treating your own patient
• Helping maintain office cleanliness on a rotating basis

Skills

• Friendly personality and true team player with outstanding communication skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the dental profession (HIPAA, OHSA etc)
• Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
• Time management
• Attention to detail
