Job Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental hygiene services, including dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and oral health assessments.
• Take and review dental radiographs as permitted by applicable law and office protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and periodontal health.
• Identify and document oral health concerns and communicate findings to the dentist.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Follow all infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
• Build positive relationships with patients and help create a comfortable, welcoming experience.
• Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team to deliver excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Both experienced hygienists and qualified newer graduates are encouraged to apply.
