Dentex Strategies is partnering with a well-established, patient-focused dental practice in Southwest Portland, Oregon, to recruit an experienced and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our client's growing clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene examinations, cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive services.
• Assess periodontal health and identify conditions requiring further evaluation or treatment.
• Collaborate with the treating dentist through a co-diagnosis approach to identify patient needs and treatment opportunities.
• Educate patients on preventive dentistry, periodontal health, and personalized oral hygiene recommendations.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic technology, including intraoral cameras and CBCT imaging.
• Perform Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR) procedures as appropriate based on training and qualifications.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, patient records, and treatment notes.
• Build meaningful, long-term patient relationships through compassionate communication and individualized care.
• Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Oregon Dental Hygiene License (RDH).
• Strong understanding of comprehensive oral health, periodontal care, and preventive dentistry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
• Calm, confident, and professional chairside manner.
• Strong teamwork skills and commitment to collaborative patient care.
• Passion for continued learning and clinical excellence.

Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical dental hygiene experience or previous experience as a dental assistant.
• Experience with laser-assisted dental hygiene.
• Familiarity with intraoral cameras and CBCT imaging.
• Interest in airway health, sleep-related dentistry, and comprehensive preventive care.
