Dental Hygienist

The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for patients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Utilize medical imaging tools as needed for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring a positive experience for children in the practice.

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and dental terminology.
• Strong skills in patient assessment and patient care.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Base Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
