Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, Dental Hygienist to join our team Fridays from 8:00-3:00! The ideal candidate is passionate about providing great preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing.
• Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Assess patients’ oral health and document findings.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as needed.
• Assist the dentist by identifying conditions requiring further evaluation or treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA guidelines.
• Ensure patient comfort while providing compassionate, high-quality care.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Current state Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Dentrix is preferred but not required

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 per week
