Job Overview

We strive for clinical excellence and superior patient care. Several patient amenities are available for fearful patients, including IV and nonIV sedation.

Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using digital imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety.
• Conduct patient assessments by measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to monitor overall health status.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) using Dentrix, documenting treatment plans, medical histories, and clinical notes.
• Adhere strictly to infection prevention protocols, including aseptic technique and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures.
• Proven experience in general dentistry, with strong knowledge of dental terminology and equipment.
• Proficiency in Dentrix for documentation review and EHR management.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality.
• Expertise in infection control practices, including healthcare infection prevention measures and sterilization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, patient education, and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures safely while maintaining high standards of radiation safety.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
