Dental Hygienist

Job Summary

Cambridge Dental Center, a trusted general, family, and cosmetic practice led by Dr. Matt Peterson, Dr. Alex Cisneros and Dr. Lissa Cisneros, is looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist to join our caring, collaborative team. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, periodontal charting, polishing, fluoride, and sealants
• Provide periodontal therapy using subgingival medicaments and diode laser
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide within your certification
• Take radiographs and perform head and neck exams as prescribed by the dentist
• Educate patients on home care, nutrition, and oral health, while keeping them comfortable and at ease
• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant clinical notes and treatment records, and support the recall system
• Keep a clean, well-stocked, and fully sterilized operatory following infection control standards
• Collaborate with the front office and doctors on scheduling and patient flow, and participate in daily huddles and team meetings

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist license
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• 2+ years of clinical hygiene experience, including prophylaxis and radiographs
• Strong communication and chairside skills with patients and teammates
• Comfortable with dental practice software and digital charting
• Commitment to continuing education

Preferred Qualifications

• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification
• Experience with periodontal therapy and diode laser
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft and Kodak/Carestream imaging (or similar)

Pay: $50.00 - $57.00 per hour
