Battlefield Family Dentistry is seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based at Battlefield Family Dentistry in Chesapeake, VA.

We are looking for a hygienist who values quality care, strong patient relationships, and a collaborative clinical environment. Our hygienists play an essential role in supporting preventive care, educating patients, and contributing to a positive, high-performing hygiene department. We welcome both experienced hygienists and early-career clinicians who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide exceptional patient care while partnering with practice leadership and the clinical team to:

• Deliver high-quality preventive and periodontal care
• Educate patients on oral health, recommended treatment, and long-term wellness
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
• Support consistent hygiene workflows, protocols, and scheduling standards
• Promote strong communication and collaboration between hygiene, doctors, and the business team
• Help strengthen patient retention, reappointment, and preventive care compliance
• Identify opportunities to improve the patient experience and support practice operations

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive compensation package that reflects the expectations of the role. The Dental Hygienist receives:

• Hourly pay of $50 - $60 per hour, based on experience
• Eligibility for individual hygiene bonuses
• Eligibility for practice performance bonuses
• Sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates
