Dental Hygienist

We're looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a growing private practice with 2 locations looking for a full-time/part-time hygienist that can help achieve the best health outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and comfortable experience for all patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care.
• Take dental x-rays and assist with other dental imaging procedures.
• Administer local anesthesia as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
• Assist the dentist during procedures and provide chairside support when needed.
• Follow all OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize dental software systems to schedule appointments and manage patient records.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

• Valid state dental hygiene license.
• Experience with aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
• Familiarity with dental office operations and procedures.
• Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and perform other dental imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive/preventative approach to periodontal disease.
