Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks.

Duties

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures Open Dental software
• Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate patient flow, and manage calendar updates with proficiency in medical scheduling software.
• Collect and process payments and copayments
• Review and update patient medical records ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Handle phone communication with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries or appointment requests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a dental clinic environment with strong clerical skills.
• Familiarity with Open Dental
• Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
• Prior dental clinic experience is preferred
• Understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA is essential for safeguarding patient information.
