Dental Front Desk Receptionist

Overview
Valley Center Smiles is seeking an outgoing and organized individual with dental office experience. The role would be responsible but not limited to checking patients in and out, maintaining the dynamic schedule and providing excellent customer service to our patients. Addressing questions, answering phones and being a team player are crucial to this role. This role also includes duties of lending a helping hand to anything the back office needs.

Duties

• Greeting patients with a smile and checking them in.
• Maintain accurate records through data entry.
• Assist with scheduling a high volume of patients.
• Answering phones in a professional manner.
• Taking and posting payments.
• Gathering insurance information for potential new patients.

Requirements

• 1+ years of dental office experience required.
• Understanding the basics of dental insurance preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Quick learner with a growth mindset.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
