Dental Front Desk Receptionist

Dental Group Palomar is seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate has previous dental office experience and understands dental insurance, scheduling, patient communication, and front-office workflow.

Responsibilities

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments
• Obtain detailed PPO and Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal dental benefit information
• Enter and maintain accurate insurance information in the patient chart
• Review eligibility, frequencies, deductibles, maximums, waiting periods, and coverage limitations
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments while maintaining a productive schedule
• Answer phones and communicate professionally with patients
• Check patients in and out and collect copays/patient portions
• Present treatment estimates and explain insurance estimates to patients
• Follow up on unscheduled treatment and recall patients
• Submit and follow up on insurance pre-authorizations when needed
• Maintain accurate patient demographics and documentation
• Work closely with the office manager, doctors, back office, and billing team

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
