Job Summary

The short version

Two dentists with unique practice philosophies share one office in Riverton. We're hiring one assistant to work across both.

Vera Dental of Riverton is a prevention-focused general practice run by Dr. Adam Burr. We catch things early, use AI to read radiographs, scan instead of taking impressions, and print most of what we deliver right here in the office. Our goal is to help patients avoid a lifetime of traditional drill-and-fill dentistry.

Wise Dental Solutions is Dr. Micah Weisenberg's implant surgery practice. Heavy surgical volume, from single implants to full arch cases.

Both practices use the same rooms, the same sterilization, the same scanners, and the same print lab, so one assistant who knows the building can support both doctors without learning two systems.

What You'll Actually be Doing

• Assisting Dr. Burr on restorative and preventive days. Straight-forward dental procedures, more patient conversation, lots of scanning, and photography.
• Setting up, assisting, and breaking down implant surgeries with Dr. Weisenberg. Single units, full arch, grafting, sinus lifts. You should be able to run a surgical room without being walked through each step.
• Delivering homecare instructions, performing coronal polishing and applying fluoride and other cavity-fighting treatments.
• Installing, removing, cleaning and maintaining interim implant prostheses.
• Running the iTero scanner, using patient-facing tools to show them their mouth, teeth and oral health, and uploading scans where they need to go.
• Running the in-office print lab on SprintRay. Design skills aren't required, but you have to consistently follow the steps for printing, washing, and curing every time to ensure quality meets our patient's demand.
• Keeping our sterilization and room turnover standards. They're written down and we hold to them.
• Charting in Curve. We use AI voice capture for all our documentation, so you'll help make sure what gets recorded is right.

Qualifications

• Two or more years assisting, with real hands-on implant surgery experience. You've set up and assisted through enough cases that the sequence is second nature.
• Utah radiology certification and current CPR.
• Comfortable with computers. You don't need to be technical, but you can't be the person who freezes when the software does.
• 3D printing or digital lab experience is a big plus. If you don't have it, you need to be someone who follows a written checklist every time and doesn't improvise.
• Calm when the day runs long or procedures diverge from the plan. Surgery days do. We need someone who handles that without it landing on the rest of the team.
• Reliable.

Pay and the rest

The pay range is largely dependent on your surgical experience and how much of the lab you can run on your own. The top of the range is for someone who can function as the lead surgical and office assistant.

Your schedule, hours and paycheck all come from Vera Dental of Riverton.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
