Duties

• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols
• Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while maintaining proper aseptic techniques
• Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Collect vital signs and medical history information to support comprehensive patient care and treatment planning
• Support patient management by scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and providing clear instructions for post-treatment care
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment in accordance with infection control standards and dental sterilization procedures

Skills

• Proficiency with dental software including EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient medical documentation and records management
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
• Expertise in dental instrument processing, sterilization techniques, and infection prevention management to uphold safety standards
• Skilled in chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedure efficiency and patient comfort
• Experience with dental x-ray techniques, including digital imaging and 3D scanning technology for accurate diagnosis
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dental team and provide exceptional patient care
• Ability to adhere strictly to clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive medical information

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
