Town Square Dental Care is seeking a positive, motivated and dependable individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Dental Assistant. We strive to achieve a great team culture and provide the type of office you look forward to coming to each day.

Job Type:

Part-time with the opportunity to add hours in the future: Tuesday-Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM (daily break for lunch)

On call (for emergency care only) one weekend a month

Office is closed Friday-Sunday

$20-$26/hour

This Position Requires:

• 1 year experience preferred
• CDA or RDA license
• Certification to perform CPR and AED for healthcare professionals
• Comfortable with lab work
• Great verbal and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow-through on tasks
• Ability to support a team in a stable and mature manner
• Versatility, an eagerness to learn and be open to feedback
• Computer skills (we use XL Dent and Dexis for radiographs)
• Cerec/scanner and/or milling experience or willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Setup and breakdown operatories after treatment has been completed
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Proper infection control – preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Assisting in sterilization
• Perform various office tasks including cross training at the front desk
• Explaining treatment plans for patients
• Utilize a Cerec scanner
• Take impressions, pour up and trim models
• Fabricate retainers, mouthguards, bleach trays, etc

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
