Dental Assistant

We are seeking a friendly, energetic team member to add to our office team. We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people, helping the patient feel welcome. A professional appearance, positive attitude. Please ensure that the location of our office is within the reasonable distance for your work-travel (West Covina).

Essential Job Duties:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Inquire of the patient's medical history and measure blood pressure and pulse.
• Ensure patients are comfortable prior to, during and after treatment.
• Provide patients with Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).
• Take dental impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
• Clean, sterilize, and package instruments.
• Chart/Enter treatment into open dental.
• Assist with front office duties as needed.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Speak Spanish and English .
• Must complete a background check
• Appearance must be professional and approachable.
• At least one year experience is a plus but very open to training new graduates!

Compensation:

$19.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience and skillset.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
