Front Desk Work:

• Answers Telephones and Schedules Patient Appointments

• Greeting, welcoming, comforting, & offering patients be seated

• Check-In Patient with Forms filled out.

• Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests

• Patient Checkout and Credit Card Processing.

• Dental Billing as per ADA Codes* --*training provided

• Prepare Patient Quote for Estimated Insurance Coverage.

• Provide Care and leads the patient to the Treatment/ Operatory Room

Sanitation & Infection Control:

• Preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.

• Assembles instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positioning instruments for dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments, adhering to infection-control policies and protocols

Assist the Doctor:

• Assists Doctor, providing materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments

• Takes Digital radiographic X-Rays and Pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts.

• Obtain & maintain CPR certification to perform CPR in case of an Emergency.

• Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.

• Takes Notes, and Documents dental care services by charting in patient records.

• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

• Maintains dental supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies
