Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DANB Certified Dental Assistant with strong oral surgery experience to join our team in Manchester, CT. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is confident providing full-scope surgical assistance, including advanced imaging and digital dentistry workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance for oral surgery procedures, including All-on-4 cases (preferred)
• Assist the surgeon throughout all phases of treatment to ensure efficient and smooth surgical workflows
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms; sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take and manage digital dental X-rays and scans, including TRIOS imaging (preferred)
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care, ensuring comfort and understanding
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records and documentation
• Perform basic laboratory duties, including pouring models and fabricating temporary restorations
• Manage surgical inventory and coordinate ordering of dental and surgical supplies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control regulations

Experience & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and surgical procedures
• Proven experience assisting in complex oral surgery cases
• Proficiency with digital dental software (CurveHero experience is a plus)
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including surgical and high-anxiety patients
• Ability to assess patient needs and provide calm, compassionate care
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
