Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our collaborative care team, though we are willing to train the right candidate. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while working in a supportive, forward-thinking clinical environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist dentist in providing dental services including examinations, fillings, root canals, extractions, prosthetic procedures, and dental cleanings
• Deliver culturally responsive care tailored to a diverse patient population
• Opportunities to support community outreach efforts, including options to participate in mobile dental programs serving patients in schools, community centers, and other non-traditional settings
• Collaborate closely with dentists and care team members to ensure integrated, patient-centered care

Experience

• Active Registered Dental Radiographer License in Maine (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to serving diverse populations
• Passion for community health and reducing barriers to care
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience in public health or community-based settings is a plus, but not required

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
