Lifetime Family Dental, a well-established general dental practice located inside Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL, is seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing and supportive team.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and positive professional who takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience and working collaboratively with the dental team. The ideal candidate has a “go-getter” mindset, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on dental assisting experience required
• Coronal Polishing Certificate required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures, anticipating clinical needs and providing efficient support
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
• Manage and coordinate all laboratory cases, including tracking and follow-up
• Create and maintain clinical notes using established templates and office protocols
• Operate the PrimeScan 3D scanner proficiently to obtain accurate digital impressions
• Order dental supplies and manage office inventory, including monitoring stock levels, maintaining appropriate supply levels, and coordinating timely reorders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly disinfected clinical environment while following appropriate infection-control and aseptic techniques
• Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and team members
• Educate and assist patients as appropriate to promote a comfortable and positive experience
• Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of dental procedures to maintain an efficient clinical workflow
• Stay current with dental technology, procedures, and best practices to continuously improve skills and performance
