Dental Assistant – Floor Coordinator

About the role

Little Bee's Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to run point on our clinic floor. This isn't a standard chairside-only role — we need someone who can act as the "floor general": keeping the schedule moving, jumping in wherever the day needs it, and owning sterilization so our doctors and team can focus on patients.

If you've got DA experience, know sterile protocol inside and out, and naturally take charge without being asked, this is built for you.

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day flow across the clinical floor — anticipating bottlenecks and keeping rooms turning over on schedule
• Run sterilization: instrument processing, autoclave management, infection control compliance, and keeping trays stocked and ready
• Assist chairside as needed across multiple providers and treatment types (exams, restorative, sedation cases)
• Act as the go-to resource for other assistants — backup, and problem-solving in real time
• Coordinate with front desk and clinical leadership to keep patient flow on track
• Maintain OSHA/infection control standards and instrument inventory

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Dental Assistant (pediatric experience a plus, not required)
• Strong working knowledge of sterilization protocols and infection control standards
• Someone who thrives with autonomy — comfortable making calls and keeping a busy floor organized without constant direction
• X-ray certification required
• Calm under pressure, especially with pediatric patients and parents
• A team-first attitude — this role sets the tone for the rest of the clinical team

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
