Dental Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. This role involves supporting the dental team in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth daily operations. The Dental Assistant will be trained on the job, gaining essential skills and knowledge to excel in this dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and eager to learn.

Duties

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures by preparing and organizing instruments and materials.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide instructions for post-treatment care.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed, following safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of dental tools and treatment areas.
• Manage patient records accurately and efficiently.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
• Receive on-the-job training to develop proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and instrument handling.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures through training.

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
