Dental Assistant – Boutique Private Practice

About Us:
26 North Dental is a boutique, relationship-focused private dental practice in Parkland, FL. We're not a corporate office and we don't run on quotas. Our motto is "Come in as a patient, leave as family," and we hold ourselves to that with patients and with each other. We're a small, tight-knit team where everyone pitches in, and we're looking for an experienced dental assistant to be a core part of that team.

About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced, reliable dental assistant to work chairside with the doctor full-time. This is a hands-on role in a growing practice, so we need someone who can work independently, anticipate needs, and take pride in patient care, not just task completion. Occasional front desk support (like answering phones) may be needed, but this is primarily a clinical assistant role, in a practice where the whole team helps each other out.

Responsibilities:

• Chairside assisting for a wide range of procedures: restorative, endo, extractions, implants, Invisalign
• Room setup/breakdown and sterilization following OSHA protocols
• Taking digital X-rays and iTero scans
• Patient chairside communication, comfort, and education
• Inventory and supply management
• Occasionally assisting front desk (answering phones, helping during high-volume periods)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical dental assisting experience (required)
• X-ray certification (Florida DHCA registration)
• CPR/BLS certification
• EFDA certification a plus, not required
• Experience with Curve Dental, iTero, or CBCT a plus
• Team player, adaptable, comfortable in a small-office environment
