Canatella Dental is seeking an experienced, polished, and professional Chairside Dental Assistant who takes pride in providing exceptional clinical support and creating an outstanding patient experience.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience, strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, excellent chairside skills, and the ability to confidently educate and communicate with patients.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and able to anticipate the doctor’s needs while maintaining an efficient clinical flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment
• Take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
• Accurately document and type clinical notes
• Review treatment and post-operative instructions with patients
• Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols
• Assist with maintaining an organized and efficient clinical schedule
• Anticipate the doctor’s needs during procedures
• Help create a comfortable, professional, and positive experience for every patient
• Work closely with the entire dental team to maintain excellent patient care and office flow

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience required
• Current X-ray certification
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and clinical workflows
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong patient education and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable using computers, digital dental technology, and practice-management software
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy clinical environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality patient care

Compensation & Benefits

• $20–$25/hour, based on experience
• 4-day work week
