Pediatric Dental Assistant

Position: Dental Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, caring, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team! Our office is dedicated to providing children with a positive, comfortable, and fun dental experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures and examinations
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations
• Assist with patient charting and documentation
• Help children feel comfortable and relaxed during their visits
• Provide age-appropriate instructions to children and parents about oral hygiene and dental care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
• Follow all infection-control and safety procedures
• Assist with patient flow and other clinical duties as needed
• Work as part of a supportive, team-oriented dental office

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Pediatric dental experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children
• Reliable, organized, and able to multitask
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Must enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced team environment

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32.0 per week
