Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical and dental histories, taking diagnostic images, and performing clinical examinations.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to explain treatment plans, procedures, and post-treatment care to patients.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
• Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including the use of dental fabrication tools and medical imaging equipment.

Skills

• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients (pediatrics).
• Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
• Excellent understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care through compassionate communication and attentive service.
• Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic environment.

Pay: $109,021.30 - $131,294.47 per year
