Associate General Dentist for Saturday's

Overview

A well-established office is looking for an efficient Associate Dentist for Saturdays ONLY.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Perform general dentistry procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics.
• Carry out complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, and orthodontics when applicable.
• Utilize electronic health record systems lEaglesoft,
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster trust and understanding.
• Collaborate with team members on patient care strategies and maintain compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
• Use advanced dental imaging technology and possess strong knowledge of anatomy to support precise diagnoses and treatments.
• Assist with dental fabrication processes when necessary and ensure all procedures meet high standards of quality.
• Maintain detailed medical records following legal requirements and practice standards.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school; valid state license to practice dentistry.
• Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and orthodontics preferred.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control procedures, and healthcare diagnosis.
• Demonstrated ability in client communication and delivering excellent patient care in a busy clinical setting.
• Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management.
• Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, implant placements, and other advanced procedures confidently.
• Commitment to maintaining aseptic technique and infection control standards at all times.
