Associate General Dentist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. This role requires a professional with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing dental conditions, developing treatment plans, and performing various dental procedures aligned with current standards of care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews
• Diagnose dental issues utilizing medical imaging and dental terminology knowledge
• Perform general dentistry procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics
• Carry out specialized treatments including root canal therapy, endodontics, oral surgery, and dental extractions
• Implement infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
• Utilize dental fabrication techniques for restorations and prosthetics as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
• Collaborate with dental team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize patient flow and comfort
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in professional development activities

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials
• Proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix preferred
• Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient care with excellent communication skills
• Experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is preferred
• Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations

Pay: $200,303.58 - $350,838.72 per year
