Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental diagnosis, medical history review, and oral examinations, ensuring accurate treatment planning.
• Deliver a wide range of dental services such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
• Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for documentation, treatment planning, and medical records management.
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Communicate clearly with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions using understandable language.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless workflow through four-handed dentistry practices that enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.

Requirements

• Valid state license to practice dentistry or pediatric dentistry with current credentials in good standing.
• Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry within a clinical setting; prior dental office or clinic experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis processes.
• Familiarity with dental imaging techniques and medical imaging tools used for accurate diagnosis.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments.
• Strong client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
• Experience working with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics confidently.

Pay: $191,205.08 - $244,139.45 per year
