Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and specialized procedures, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. This role offers an opportunity to work in a well-equipped clinic, utilizing modern dental software and techniques to enhance patient experiences and treatment results.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for diverse cases, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, orthodontic, and oral surgical procedures.
• Conduct dental procedures such as Restorative procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, and oral surgery with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care through clear client communication.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure the clinic adheres to all safety protocols related to sterilization and aseptic technique.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless four-handed dentistry practices that optimize efficiency and patient comfort.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix for documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of dental diagnosis, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols.
• Experience performing a wide range of procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (braces or aligners) and oral surgery.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of dental fabrication techniques for crowns using the Cerec machine is advantageous.
• Minumum of 5 years of Dental experience is a plus
• Cosmetic driven and Licensed to provide Botox is a plus!!!
• Experience with Oral Sedation and IV Sedation is a plus!!
