Associate Dentist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Duties

• Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, and implant placements.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and patient needs.
• Utilize dental terminology effectively to explain procedures and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws.
• Adhere to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
• Stay updated with advancements in general dentistry, orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and dental implants.
• Use practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, billing, and medical imaging management.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare diagnosis standards and dental office policies regarding patient care and medical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients to foster trust and promote ongoing oral health education.

Qualifications

• Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
• Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or office setting; previous experience with dental office software is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Proficiency in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics procedures (crowns, bridges), orthodontics basics, pediatric dentistry techniques, oral surgery, and implant placement is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic or Dentrix is a plus; experience with Eaglesoft is advantageous.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all patient interactions.
• Ability to work efficiently using aseptic techniques while maintaining high standards of infection control.

Pay: $193,030.50 - $248,380.81 per year
