Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic private dental practice in Lihue on beautiful Kauai Island. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be proficient in various dental procedures. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions and a desire to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Duties

• Provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed and maintain an aseptic technique during all procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and care instructions.
• Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental technology.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software is preferred.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology.
• Ability to perform dental fabrications and utilize medical imaging effectively.
• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Knowledge of infection control practices within a dental clinic environment.
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Experience in family dental practice highly desired
